Memorial Message:
Gregory D. Sanford, 52, of West Bath, died March 11, 2009 after a courageous battle with cancer. Born in Bath, the oldest of six children,he was the son of Norman Sanford of West Bath and Beverly A.(Knight) Ouellette of Brunswick. He graduated in 1975 from Morse High School, where he was an avid football player. He worked at BIW for 31 years and was also a member of the Maine National Guard for 20 years. In addition to his father and mother, and his wife Heidi, he is survived by three sons; a granddaughter; several brothers and sisters; and his uncle, Donald Sanford, of West Bath.
